Pros

Free lunch, casual dress code, hire inexperienced

Cons

The day I quit will be the best day of my life. They deceive you from the start. As a CRA, you're told training will last 6 months but in reality, it will take 8-10. The worst part is that you learn everything within about 3 months. The other 4-6 months of training will be spent sitting at your desk with absolutely nothing to do, so you will try to look busy just so no one reports you. Once you finally do finish training, they still don't have anything for you to do so they give you "rotations" which is literally just intern work. The company controls you with fear and power. They fire CRAs like crazy. Every single day you fear that it's going to be the day you finally get the axe, so it's hard to concentrate. The only thing I got lucky with is my manager. She is extremely nice. It is definitely very clear, however, that your progress in the company depends on how much your manager likes you. Oh, and I'm getting paid about 10k less than my colleagues who all have the same credentials that I do.

Pros

Coworkers are willing to help you and answer questions.

Cons

Abysmal pay for industry standards. Work will be piled on continuously. More and more studies. Forced to present impossible timelines. And then you have to speak to why these timelines were not met after the fact when it's outside of your control. Travel expectations thrown at you with a couple days notice. CEO micromanages the entire company. They track when you badge in and badge out of the building. You have to badge out to exit. Upper management throws you under the bus in front of sponsor despite agreeing with you in prep call and telling you they will have your back. People here work crazy long hours late into the evening and think it's normal.
