Pros

Good place to enter the industry if you have no experience, and can brace yourself for a year of chaos.

Cons

The employee turnover is outrageous. This goes for all roles, CRAs, attorneys, CTAs, everyone. The firings are seemingly random as well, so you will spend your days wondering if you're going to be fired, or you may walk in and find that, despite only being with the company for a couple months you are now the most senior person in your department. It's like that. Additionally, with regards to CRA pay, you will be underpaid compared to the industry average, but that may be justified if you're brought in with no experience. The disorganization is unlike anything you've ever seen. The company, so focused on growth/hiring, is unable to balance employee workloads so that loads of employees are left just twiddling their thumbs in office, or absolutely drowning in work, there is no in between.

We have to agree with you that roller coaster accurately describes 2020 so far although we don’t think Medpace is alone in this! :) Compensation is reviewed on a regular basis within the organization. We work with our Compensation and Benefits team to review salary and benchmarks to assure we are aligned with the market while also being competitive in the industry. We also acknowledge that Medpace is not a fit for everyone, and we are okay with that. Every employee has different needs, and it is unrealistic to think we can meet all of them. However, we always try our best to make every employee feel valued and satisfied in their position at the organization. We encourage all employees to address concerns about workload directly with their line manager. Should additional assistance be needed, we always encourage you to contact your HR Representative as well to discuss in more detail. It is apparent Medpace was not the best fit for you, but we appreciate your feedback.
