Pros

A great way to get some job experience, great coworkers, mid level management will work with you to keep you challenged & is open to feedback.

Cons

High workload, high achievers will continue to be thrown additional work with no increase in pay or title unless they meet minimum length of tenure requirements for promotions. I’ve seen lots of trained, high achievers leave Medpace due to not being promoted as quickly as they should per their skill set & performance. Dumb Covid policy forcing many personnel to work in office. Poor HR & upper level management treatment of employees

Thank you for your feedback! We are glad to hear you enjoyed your coworkers and job experienced you gained. We apologize for any confusion surrounding promotional opportunities. All promotions are based upon minimum eligibility requirements as well as performance standards. Experience in role is a factor of course but individual performance is a priority as well. We encourage all employees to review these standards with their manager, as they are a valuable resource with regard to any questions associates have about their promotional opportunities. We are not entirely sure where you have gotten the information that employees are forced to work in office during COVID. We are navigating as best as we can with COVID-19 and assure you we are taking this very seriously. We are complying with CDC guidelines of social distancing in the organization, extra cleaning services regularly throughout the building, and are allowing employees to work from home (on a staggered schedule) every other week to ensure we help stop the spread. Employees with special circumstances are welcome to reach out to us and we will accommodate as necessary. Hourly employees have been given sick time during this crisis to ensure they feel safe and have plenty of time to take off if needed. As a healthcare company, we recognize the severity of the virus which is why we are following all guidance given by the CDC and state of Ohio. And as an essential component of the drug development process we have elements of our that must be in person – at least on a partial basis. We encourage you to reach out to your HR Representative to discuss in more detail. Thank you.

Pros

Coworkers are willing to help you and answer questions.

Cons

Abysmal pay for industry standards. Work will be piled on continuously. More and more studies. Forced to present impossible timelines. And then you have to speak to why these timelines were not met after the fact when it's outside of your control. Travel expectations thrown at you with a couple days notice. CEO micromanages the entire company. They track when you badge in and badge out of the building. You have to badge out to exit. Upper management throws you under the bus in front of sponsor despite agreeing with you in prep call and telling you they will have your back. People here work crazy long hours late into the evening and think it's normal.
