Pros
Medpace provides thorough and excellent training to CRAs. You learn strong monitoring skills and this is often reflected in positive feedback from your sites that work with Medpace CRAs. Fellow CRAs, PCs and CTMs are kind, helpful and become your friends over the course of your assigned projects.
Cons
CRA managers and everyone in the Clinical Monitoring/Training and Development department are micromanaging bullies. They will berate you for anything perceived as a misstep before offering a chance to explain yourself. They will beat down your self esteem and look for any and every reason to criticize, attack and fire you. You’ll be worked to the point of mental and physical exhaustion with no support from managers. Company culture is absolutely vile and there is NO loyalty to hardworking, longtime employees. It can be hard to realize when you’re in the thick of it, but the grass is definitely greener. All I can say is after leaving Medpace I likened my new job experience to someone who gets out of an abusive relationship and is suddenly treated well...you’re completely shell shocked and it doesn’t feel right at first, but after a while you get used to it and learn that there are good employers out there who value your hard work!
