Pros

There are good people that work at Medpace and the facilities are nice.

Cons

You'll notice a lot of reviews say "good first job" that's probably because anyone with professional experience prior to working at Medpace would be able to spot how toxic and high school-esque the culture is. While there are truly good people that work there, the management is toxic and plays favorites based on how well you inflate their ego. I would also say it's not a great place for working parents as even salaried employees are nickle'd and dime'd for their time. They make their "flex" time sound like a perk but really it highlights how you are always being watched to make sure you're working exactly the amount of time they expect (which often ends up being more than 40 hours). Salary is also notoriously low for the market and industry. I would caution anyone who has multiple offers to really consider all of their options.

Although we appreciate and agree with your acknowledgment of our amazing team members and our state of the art facilities, we are taken back by your thoughts about the organizational culture. We promote a culture focused on positivity, collaboration, and flexibility. We work hard to ensure we are a place that attracts employees not just for the short term, but an environment where our associates can grow in their career. Medpace does not promote or tolerate a culture of gossip and negativity. We encourage all employees who see this to address the issue head on, speak to their manager, or contact their HR representative. We must also correct your apparent misunderstanding of our flexible work opportunities. In addition to flex time which allows associates to adjust their work hours to better suit their schedules, we offer a hybrid work environment so that associates can choose to work remotely several days a month. We also have a designated team that reviews benchmarks to ensure we are constantly aligned with the market and remain competitive in the industry. We recognize we cannot please everyone and we do our best to provide an environment where our employees feel heard, valued, and empowered. We are sorry Medpace was not a fit for you but wish you well in your future endeavors.

Pros

Coworkers are willing to help you and answer questions.

Cons

Abysmal pay for industry standards. Work will be piled on continuously. More and more studies. Forced to present impossible timelines. And then you have to speak to why these timelines were not met after the fact when it's outside of your control. Travel expectations thrown at you with a couple days notice. CEO micromanages the entire company. They track when you badge in and badge out of the building. You have to badge out to exit. Upper management throws you under the bus in front of sponsor despite agreeing with you in prep call and telling you they will have your back. People here work crazy long hours late into the evening and think it's normal.
