Pros

The people I work with are nice.

Cons

It’s a new year which means insurance went up and it’s a significant amount, especially if you’re covering more than just yourself. Also new for 2024 is a mandatory in office day on Tuesday - no exceptions for bad weather, sick child etc, and this isn’t just a decrease in flexibility we used to enjoy, it’s also a major inconvenience since their isn’t enough parking when everyone is in office, and soon employees will be forced to “hotel” since there aren’t enough desks. So great job treating employees like “family.” I’m sure we will all bond on “Together Tuesdays” as we complain about our insurance, parking and desks.

Thank you for the review. We have a designated team that regularly reviews our compensation and benefits to ensure we are being competitive within our industry. Benefits costs throughout the United States continue to increase, our designated teams attempt to find the lowest cost possible for our employees without sacrificing coverage. In regard to our new mandatory Together Tuesday, this is a day of the week to maximize collaboration and assure predictable interaction for all associates, including those who are completely office-based. Like many companies in the US, we feel that a gradual return to office can be beneficial – especially for new joiners! Unlike many companies Medpace has not reduced the number of work from days available to employee – we have only identified Tuesdays as the day of the week that all colleagues can expect to be together. We feel that combined with our flexible scheduling, PTO, sick time, and our work-from-home policy, that employees have a generous amount of flexibility in their work schedule to meet their needs. Any recommendations you have on improving our processes or communication can be sent to your Human Resources representative. We are always looking to address concerns and hear new ideas. We appreciate your feedback!
