Pros
- The people. Each review has mentioned this so far and it's worth reiterating. Everyone is very supportive of each other, good natured, helpful and friendly. There's a great sense of community and team spirit. It's not unusual to find us spending time together socially. I've made lifelong friends here - The work we do. In the grand scheme of things, our products do a lot of good and it's satisfying to be a part of projects which aim to help people in lots of different ways - The experience. I have had a lot of exposure to all the different aspects of software project management from a client-facing perspective - Senior management are actively trying to provide us with a better work environment
Cons
- Discord between senior management. This makes it nearly impossible to get things done sometimes as there's a conflict of opinion and no single person owning a decision - Lack of recognising and rewarding staff for their efforts, abilities and accomplishments. Job titles/descriptions are not accurate representations of what staff do so they are not paid accordingly - The work/life balance for staff sometimes is shockingly in favour of work out of necessity due to lack of resources Also, I disagree with the bullying comments in a previous review to a certain extent. The founder of the company is making an effort to change the way he behaves towards us which we support, obviously.
