Pros

Great insurance. Cheaper than most and prescription for me is usually $4. Used to be nice to work for but the only store I liked was the one they closed. Guaranteed raises by the hours worked.

Cons

Team members are lazy dont wanna do anything. Union protection prevents managers from getting rid of worthless team members. Managers are not union they treat team memhers like crap. The wage is rediculous. They're never happy with anything. Meat cutter used to be a career now I can't even get out of my parents house with what they pay. Meat cutters take a lot of heat for things we have no control over. The paperwork never ends either. Every month they change things and don't tell us until the day a big wig come's in. The cons are endless. They have a point system once you get 12 points your fired and it takes nothing to racknowledge them up. I called in for my sick child brought in a doctors note and they still pointed me. The store director hung up on me. They won't help us out when we need it most. They are the biggest burden to the company. They ignore seniority and if your not a favorite you are screwed. They their the hardest to keep people from getting full time as well.

Pros

Direct coworkers were great to work with. I also enjoyed being left to do my work and not babysat by management.

Cons

Management doesn't know what they are doing. Resets and floor plans were regularly not done properly. The store I worked at has a skeleton crew so I never got help (but was expected to stop everything I'm going to go help other departments/areas). Also meaning good luck to any customers needing help, especially when I was the only person working my area of the store, so when I wasn't there, no one was. Management also regularly disappeared into the offices or were on vacation. Also was terminated for reasons outside my control even though I was told they look at the reasons for attendance incidents before termination. Never got to get the FMLA or accommodation to my doctors before being terminated two days after I requested them. Didn't bother asking for a raise either. I did multiple times and got nothing.
