Pros

1. I'm getting some great experience and exposure to things I did not know. 2. I've met some cool people - transplants from other states. 3. The onsite cafeteria is nice - although it is strange that it is the wellness company and they serve fried Chinese food multiple times a week. 4. I took my family to the picnic and that was fun. 5. Christmas party was awesome.

Cons

1. Everything is a last minute crisis; no visible strategy on anything. China seems to be booming (until it isn't...) 2. No trust and they do many things to track your time if you are salaried. They track door logs, have sign in sheets at all meetings, and make you do this weird thing called plan you day (on the computer) every morning which shows if you are in the building. 3. They value time in the building way more than accomplishing anything! 4. Pay is WAY below market. PTO is not enough. 5. Virtually all of management is white, Mormon men. 6. There is no career development, no training - I saw HR when I started my job, at the picnic, but not since then. 7. There is a Chief of Staff...who has a Chief of Staff other than the President????

Pros

Great to work for, the people are kind and willing to help you with any problem you run into.

Cons

They're stingy with promotions and probably won't utilize you to your fullest capacity

Pros

- side benefits are okay - it is a median sort of job - I personally have some freedom do to personal professional development on the clock when there is no immediate need for my work (happens very little) - People half listen once they know you have been at Melaleuca after about 5 years

Cons

- No management that knows what they are doing - Not very customer-focused - Don't seek to fulfill their strategic imperatives or strategies or mission - Very hard for people to listen to you because you're new - They don't have a lot of integrity - Very slow to solve problems - Don't worry about making improvements in processes or tools we use - Slow AI usage and no proficiency in AI usage, strategies or implementation - Managers micromanage because Melaleuca is "unique" - Most of the positive things they tout all the time serves only the company's image, not the employees - Don't worry about giving raises in a timely manner - Not goal-oriented employer And I could probably keep going, but will stop here.
