Pros

Health insurance is great, longevity bonus paid out every 5 years, close to some of Idaho's best outdoor recreation sites, annual merit increases, monthly bonus structure. New facilities, they're distribution centers are all new and new corporate offices are under construction. For the most part, management has an open door policy and the staff is friendly.

Cons

Privately held company, nothing happens without the approval of the Owner/CEO. A decent place to work if you are an Accounting/Finance professional. Supply Chain, Operations, R&D and IT professionals should look elsewhere. Base pay is extremely low. In the two years since my resignation I have doubled my salary - same industry, similar responsibilities & similar cost of living.

Pros

Great to work for, the people are kind and willing to help you with any problem you run into.

Cons

They're stingy with promotions and probably won't utilize you to your fullest capacity

Pros

- side benefits are okay - it is a median sort of job - I personally have some freedom do to personal professional development on the clock when there is no immediate need for my work (happens very little) - People half listen once they know you have been at Melaleuca after about 5 years

Cons

- No management that knows what they are doing - Not very customer-focused - Don't seek to fulfill their strategic imperatives or strategies or mission - Very hard for people to listen to you because you're new - They don't have a lot of integrity - Very slow to solve problems - Don't worry about making improvements in processes or tools we use - Slow AI usage and no proficiency in AI usage, strategies or implementation - Managers micromanage because Melaleuca is "unique" - Most of the positive things they tout all the time serves only the company's image, not the employees - Don't worry about giving raises in a timely manner - Not goal-oriented employer And I could probably keep going, but will stop here.
