Pros

Melaleuca surprisingly has some good cleaning supplies, They are OVERPRICED, but you get a ninety dollar product check that allows you to be able to buy some.

Cons

Micromanagement, Terrible Pay, High School Pettiness, Wrongful Terminations, religious exploitation. Melaleuca is like many MLM companies who have realized the value in densely Mormon populated communities, such as employees that are generally hard-working, intrinsically motivated, and honest; as well as customers who are trusting to a fault. I got tired of the environment and quit, in retaliation the same HR representative I resigned through fired my brother in law the next day. Sadly my brother in law was expecting a promotion. He was recommended by his supervisor and when HR asked to meet with him his supervisor told him she thought it meant he was getting the promotion, but instead he got fired. Surprised he asked to know why and they told him that a customer had called in reporting him for swearing at them on the phone. My brother in law NEVER cuss's and pointed out that every phone is recorded and he would be happy to review the specific phone call with them. Caught in a lie the HR representative told him that because he is no longer an employee that he was no longer allowed to listen to recorded calls so reviewing it would be impossible.

Pros

Great to work for, the people are kind and willing to help you with any problem you run into.

Cons

They're stingy with promotions and probably won't utilize you to your fullest capacity

Pros

- side benefits are okay - it is a median sort of job - I personally have some freedom do to personal professional development on the clock when there is no immediate need for my work (happens very little) - People half listen once they know you have been at Melaleuca after about 5 years

Cons

- No management that knows what they are doing - Not very customer-focused - Don't seek to fulfill their strategic imperatives or strategies or mission - Very hard for people to listen to you because you're new - They don't have a lot of integrity - Very slow to solve problems - Don't worry about making improvements in processes or tools we use - Slow AI usage and no proficiency in AI usage, strategies or implementation - Managers micromanage because Melaleuca is "unique" - Most of the positive things they tout all the time serves only the company's image, not the employees - Don't worry about giving raises in a timely manner - Not goal-oriented employer And I could probably keep going, but will stop here.
