Pros

Incredible opportunity to take on responsibilities you'd normally not get until 5 to 10 years into your career. Frank has an incredible story and is a wonderful mentor, when you get to interact with him face-to-face. Somehow, Melaleuca has attracted a couple great VPs and Directors -- Beauty, Web, Photography, Supplements, International -- who are heavy-hitters in their larger industries. They care about their people and aren't afraid to be in the trenches with you day-to-day.

Cons

There's a whole swath of middle-management that has worked at Melaleuca their entire lives that operate in scarcity mindset; they hoard information, are defensive and have their own gossip network. Once you cross one of them, you can't move forward. I watched this happen to so many good, talented workers who all left for bigger companies with greater pay. A true loss to Melaleuca.

Pros

Great to work for, the people are kind and willing to help you with any problem you run into.

Cons

They're stingy with promotions and probably won't utilize you to your fullest capacity

Pros

- side benefits are okay - it is a median sort of job - I personally have some freedom do to personal professional development on the clock when there is no immediate need for my work (happens very little) - People half listen once they know you have been at Melaleuca after about 5 years

Cons

- No management that knows what they are doing - Not very customer-focused - Don't seek to fulfill their strategic imperatives or strategies or mission - Very hard for people to listen to you because you're new - They don't have a lot of integrity - Very slow to solve problems - Don't worry about making improvements in processes or tools we use - Slow AI usage and no proficiency in AI usage, strategies or implementation - Managers micromanage because Melaleuca is "unique" - Most of the positive things they tout all the time serves only the company's image, not the employees - Don't worry about giving raises in a timely manner - Not goal-oriented employer And I could probably keep going, but will stop here.
