Pros

The growth opportunities here are unmatched. If you have the drive and want to gain new skillsets, Melaleuca will not hold you back. They'll actually encourage it. Put your head down and get to work. This is a company that gives you the opportunity to look at its processes and suggest improvements. They will be noticed and promotional opportunities will come but you have to put in the work. Other pros are $100 worth of Melaleuca products each month for you and your family, upper management team that is approachable and open to constructive criticism, longevity bonuses, vacation days encouraged to reduce burnout, and fun corporate activities (Picnic, Christmas party, etc...).

Cons

Managers aren't all calibrated on how to lead their teams but I do know that our CEO is doing more frequent meetings with leadership so maybe with time that will correct itself.

Pros

Great to work for, the people are kind and willing to help you with any problem you run into.

Cons

They're stingy with promotions and probably won't utilize you to your fullest capacity

Pros

- side benefits are okay - it is a median sort of job - I personally have some freedom do to personal professional development on the clock when there is no immediate need for my work (happens very little) - People half listen once they know you have been at Melaleuca after about 5 years

Cons

- No management that knows what they are doing - Not very customer-focused - Don't seek to fulfill their strategic imperatives or strategies or mission - Very hard for people to listen to you because you're new - They don't have a lot of integrity - Very slow to solve problems - Don't worry about making improvements in processes or tools we use - Slow AI usage and no proficiency in AI usage, strategies or implementation - Managers micromanage because Melaleuca is "unique" - Most of the positive things they tout all the time serves only the company's image, not the employees - Don't worry about giving raises in a timely manner - Not goal-oriented employer And I could probably keep going, but will stop here.
