Pros

It's a good place to get experience then get out. My coworkers were good people and it was a wholesome environment. If you are moving to work for then then make sure you ask for the assistance with rent for the first couple months because they have it in the budget but won't give it to you unless you ask for it. If you are planning to stay with them for at least 2 years Negotiate for a larger signing bonus as well because if you have the leverage for one they are more likely to give you that than give you any kind of substantial raise in the first 2 years of employment no matter how amazing of an employee you are. You get a $100 product check every month to use on there products, but there stuff is so expensive it really doesn't go very far.

Cons

The benefits are awful. 2.5% 401k match that is only vested after 7 years. We pay roughly $500 a month in health insurance premiums for the cheapest option for 3 people. Tuition assistance is only offered for classes that they sign off on even if your major requires others they don't approve of and its not very much money they give anyway. They won't pay for certifications in your specialty. And pretty much everyone has to go work an 80 hour week at their convention once a year that doesn't come with any extra bonus.

Pros

Great to work for, the people are kind and willing to help you with any problem you run into.

Cons

They're stingy with promotions and probably won't utilize you to your fullest capacity

Pros

- side benefits are okay - it is a median sort of job - I personally have some freedom do to personal professional development on the clock when there is no immediate need for my work (happens very little) - People half listen once they know you have been at Melaleuca after about 5 years

Cons

- No management that knows what they are doing - Not very customer-focused - Don't seek to fulfill their strategic imperatives or strategies or mission - Very hard for people to listen to you because you're new - They don't have a lot of integrity - Very slow to solve problems - Don't worry about making improvements in processes or tools we use - Slow AI usage and no proficiency in AI usage, strategies or implementation - Managers micromanage because Melaleuca is "unique" - Most of the positive things they tout all the time serves only the company's image, not the employees - Don't worry about giving raises in a timely manner - Not goal-oriented employer And I could probably keep going, but will stop here.
