Pros

Melaleuca recently has really begun investing in their career development programs and appear to be working hard toward making sure team members have the resources needed to advance in their careers. Melaleuca has started allowing certain roles to work remotely when appropriate. Melaleuca regularly holds trainings for different topics in order to upskill different teams.

Cons

Although they work with you on career development, it’s sometimes hard to find that next role because they just don’t become available very often. You can be prepared for a role, but there aren’t any available positions so you can stay with this company. Trainings so far are still pretty sparse although I hear there are additional trainings becoming available.

Pros

Great to work for, the people are kind and willing to help you with any problem you run into.

Cons

They're stingy with promotions and probably won't utilize you to your fullest capacity

Pros

- side benefits are okay - it is a median sort of job - I personally have some freedom do to personal professional development on the clock when there is no immediate need for my work (happens very little) - People half listen once they know you have been at Melaleuca after about 5 years

Cons

- No management that knows what they are doing - Not very customer-focused - Don't seek to fulfill their strategic imperatives or strategies or mission - Very hard for people to listen to you because you're new - They don't have a lot of integrity - Very slow to solve problems - Don't worry about making improvements in processes or tools we use - Slow AI usage and no proficiency in AI usage, strategies or implementation - Managers micromanage because Melaleuca is "unique" - Most of the positive things they tout all the time serves only the company's image, not the employees - Don't worry about giving raises in a timely manner - Not goal-oriented employer And I could probably keep going, but will stop here.
