Pros
Casual environment, very intelligent engaging coworkers, job security, salary, no-nonsense, productive approach to the business. Look, I wouldn't take any review that paints a company as either paradise or as hell seriously. I've worked at 4 companies and they have all had their strengths and weaknesses. For some people, things I call pros, they may call cons and vice-versa. It's a business and a successful one. Lots of people who have left have come back so they must have something to offer. A note on the negative review from 4/10/18--lucky you if this office seems unclean. I've worked in places where science experiments grow in the refrigerator and nobody does a thing about it. I'm a bit insulted on behalf of the office staff--especially L--all of whom I've seen clean the coffee machines often. Not an issue at my previous company because they didn't even provide coffee.
Cons
For me, I think we run quite lean with a lot of us carrying a workload and job functions that might be spread out across more positions in another company. There is unclear career growth potential. And yes, historically management might have focused more on what you can do better rather than praising what you've done. But they've never denied that and have produced phenomenal results. They are taking steps toward changing things and taking employee morale more seriously. If it works without sacrificing productivity, I think it will be a win-win for all.
