Most of the hospital staff are good to work with, In PACU they had a great team of Anesthesia MD's to work with,
Cons
Heavy work load, no breaks, hard to get time off when requested, favoritism played a big role in the department. Management and assistant management has honestly been the worst I have worked for. Have worked for many other places hands down the director needs to fire and replace. Took forever to get same sex benefits, had unsafe work environment. did not follow safe staffing guide lines. worked with one nurse in the unit on weekends which is against all established guidelines for a pacu department.
