Pros

I have been a nurse at this New York hospital for five years, and it truly feels like a second family. The administration consistently supports our clinical judgment and invests in our continued education. What I value most is the collaborative spirit—doctors, nurses, and staff work as a unified team for the best patient outcomes. They foster a respectful and positive work environment where every team member is heard. I am incredibly proud to provide care here and would recommend it to any healthcare professional seeking a fulfilling career.

Cons

As with any large hospital, the shifts can be demanding and the pace incredibly fast, leaving little time for a proper break on the busiest days. Occasionally, administrative tasks and documentation can feel extensive, taking time away from direct patient care. There are also times when, due to high patient volume, you wish you had just a few more minutes to spend with each person

Pros

A lot of people to work with and a great amount of exposure to different in-house counsel areas. If you are proactive, there are plenty of people willing to try and meet with you and explain things, though their time is limited. If you can pick at their brains, the Attorneys of the smartest and most hard-working individuals you'll meet. They have some fun events and team-bonding,

Cons

Lack of diversity in interns, which make fit and experience difficult. Even upon meeting diverse staff and people, there always seems to be a barrier and front. Attorneys generally have little time to teach you, but they do their best. Compensation is lackluster, but benefits and events are fun. Sometimes work can lag, and you must be proactive in seeking it out for yourself.
