Pros

Because of the good benefit (only good thing about it), many people take advantage of it (hence always the shortage). My advice to anyone who seeks job here: take advantage of the benefit because you will need it, gain some experience here and if you are a fresh grad, take what you can learn here move on elsewhere after a few years.

Cons

-Corrupted system that reward the compliant with tribal approbation. -Nursing management normalise sociopathic behaviour and make decency despicable, even good intentions are useless in such environment. -High turn-over rate since the opening of JRSC. New nursing management highly favors employees who "follows and listens", instead of welcoming diversity and different voices, hence the high turnover rate. New RNs are mostly fresh grads who usually choose to be silent against the management team . -Closed circle within a high stress environment creates immature behavior among surgeons, PAs and RNs just like high school

Pros

A lot of people to work with and a great amount of exposure to different in-house counsel areas. If you are proactive, there are plenty of people willing to try and meet with you and explain things, though their time is limited. If you can pick at their brains, the Attorneys of the smartest and most hard-working individuals you'll meet. They have some fun events and team-bonding,

Cons

Lack of diversity in interns, which make fit and experience difficult. Even upon meeting diverse staff and people, there always seems to be a barrier and front. Attorneys generally have little time to teach you, but they do their best. Compensation is lackluster, but benefits and events are fun. Sometimes work can lag, and you must be proactive in seeking it out for yourself.
