Pros

Great coworkers .....A true plus

Cons

No advancement in the Office Coordinator position at all, if you are enrolled in school -the OC positions are not for you . Office hours are 9-5 period. No remote options no staggered hours -nothing -Zero - Also Care Coordinators will become a Practice Leaders/Managers way way way before a Office Coordinator. Within 2 years a CC can become your boss . Benefits are not great -prepare to pay into your medical and dental plan and the bigger your family the more you will pay - also tuition reimbursement is not for everyone. No annuity or pension options anymore -a equal position at a NYC HHC hospital has better benefits and better work hours , which is surprising considering Sloan wants to appear as if they have successful employer -employee relationship and are ahead of the local competing hospitals.

Pros

A lot of people to work with and a great amount of exposure to different in-house counsel areas. If you are proactive, there are plenty of people willing to try and meet with you and explain things, though their time is limited. If you can pick at their brains, the Attorneys of the smartest and most hard-working individuals you'll meet. They have some fun events and team-bonding,

Cons

Lack of diversity in interns, which make fit and experience difficult. Even upon meeting diverse staff and people, there always seems to be a barrier and front. Attorneys generally have little time to teach you, but they do their best. Compensation is lackluster, but benefits and events are fun. Sometimes work can lag, and you must be proactive in seeking it out for yourself.
