Pros

They have a bunch of OT opportunities.

Cons

Long story short, this companies HR/Recruitment Team will attempt to fill the positions they have with recent graduates. DO NOT START HERE BECAUSE YOU THINK IT WILL HELP YOU. There is a very high turnover rate in this position, and there are so many reasons such as false advertisements of benefits, "9-5" that actually requires you to work from 8-6 with no pay for the extra hours. The workload can very from maybe answering a handful of calls to hundreds, and there's no sliding salary for the sliding amount of work. Be wary of the crossfire between the admin team and the medical team because they are always coming for each other and it is the OC's who get caught in between. This role demands much higher pay especially for certain offices, and well as better benefits and a competent management team. They will attempt to maintain status quo even if it means throwing you under the bus. Poor work life balance. For almost a years I just worked, went home, slept, and woke up to repeat. IF YOU DO HAVE AN ISSUE, GO ABOVE THE AM, GO STRAIGHT TO THE DIRECTOR.

Pros

A lot of people to work with and a great amount of exposure to different in-house counsel areas. If you are proactive, there are plenty of people willing to try and meet with you and explain things, though their time is limited. If you can pick at their brains, the Attorneys of the smartest and most hard-working individuals you'll meet. They have some fun events and team-bonding,

Cons

Lack of diversity in interns, which make fit and experience difficult. Even upon meeting diverse staff and people, there always seems to be a barrier and front. Attorneys generally have little time to teach you, but they do their best. Compensation is lackluster, but benefits and events are fun. Sometimes work can lag, and you must be proactive in seeking it out for yourself.
