Pros

Highest paying salary for new grad RNs, great health benefits, and you learn a lot just by being in that environment. Physicians and PAs were a joy to work with.

Cons

Bureaucratic nursing supervisors and very cliquey nighttime staff on the unit I worked on. The hospital treats its employees like they're in a corporate environment.

Pros

A lot of people to work with and a great amount of exposure to different in-house counsel areas. If you are proactive, there are plenty of people willing to try and meet with you and explain things, though their time is limited. If you can pick at their brains, the Attorneys of the smartest and most hard-working individuals you'll meet. They have some fun events and team-bonding,

Cons

Lack of diversity in interns, which make fit and experience difficult. Even upon meeting diverse staff and people, there always seems to be a barrier and front. Attorneys generally have little time to teach you, but they do their best. Compensation is lackluster, but benefits and events are fun. Sometimes work can lag, and you must be proactive in seeking it out for yourself.
