Pros

Only work here if you’re looking for means to an end

Cons

Oh boy strap in because this is going to be a long one. Memoryblue is just a bunch of childish adults cosplaying as a company. The company I worked for was acquired by them and it has been downhill since then. Only way to move up is to stick around long enough to not get fired. Memory blue advertises a lot of false hope. First let’s start with the commission. Memory blue advertises a “piggy bank” they will put 1k into every time you hit commission. You can’t access the piggy bank until 15 months, sounds like a terrible excuse not to pay wages owed. Commission is capped at 500 and base salary is extremely low (42.8k). Don’t even bother doing on the 3k holiday because you will need to pay it back if you don’t make it to 15 months. Your success here depends on your campaign. Memory blue only cares about numbers and they’ll gaslight you into thinking you’re incompetent despite the fact you have a terrible campaign. Next, let’s talk about management .Basically management are people who stuck around long enough. Certain Managers have a weird thing for humiliation and would rather embarrass you in front of everyone than address an issue. Only very few people have actual leadership skills and no formal training. My manager ran things based off relationships rather than work ethic, so stay on their good side if you want to remotely enjoy your job. Instead of firing you they will do everything in their power to make you quit such as micromanaging, hurling insults, and humiliation tactics. If you enjoy micromanagement and weird passive aggressive behavior .. this is the place for you. My advice is try to make it less obvious who you give special privileges to and learn to be more professional. Seek sensitivity training and watch what you say because your tactics won’t work at an actual company. Learn how to run a team instead of arguing with people to cover up your lack of experience and incompetence. If HR actually existed you would have been out the door a long time ago. The workplace shouldn’t be an outlet for your whatever control you lack in your personal life. Another point is the lack of professionalism in this “company”. The amount of workplace gossip was insane and the incessant need to pry into your personal business. If you do decide to work here DO NOT disclose ANYTHING, it CAN and WILL be used against you. Only way to advance here is stick around long enough not to get fired, sleep with someone for a position, or social climb your way up. This is just one big dysfunctional adult high school. If you enjoy hearing juicy gossip and rumors memoryblue is the place for you! Ahh and now for the grand finale! One of the things that concerned me the most was the amount of people memory blue has had to pay off due to groping/harassment by a higher up is quite concerning. The person is a disgusting individual and I have heard endless stories of him berating people and doing illicit substances on company grounds . This is company is a wrongful termination/workplace harassment lawyers dream. Memoryblue already has pending lawsuits so good luck to whatever this is..Basically they’ll try to micromanage you to the point where you quit or they’ll put you on a PIP and blame it on the smallest thing. Good luck lasting here! Miss commission once and you’re out! If you value your mental health and wellbeing please consider working elsewhere.

Pros

- Good Sales Training - Good Company Culture, Everyone wants to learn and help - Good Managers will be able to provide great coaching to help further grow your skills

Cons

- Your success is highly dependent on what client they give you. If they give you a hard client, do not expect to see those bonuses come in frequently. - Managers are also another luck of the draw. Started off with a great manager, who'd always be willing to help and coach. But then transitioned to another manager who was about my age, not very competent at coaching or advice since he had only been on an easy client for 6 months before being promoted, and would micromanage the team very hard. If you get a bad manager + a hard client, you will not have a good time at memoryBlue since they are already expecting you to work hard. - Pay and the bonuses are very low. Whether or not you'll see a raise is dependent on what client you get whether since it's based on hitting quota an X amount of times.
