Pros

True that most of the managers and team leads were flexible to give you time off if you needed it for family emergencies, most not all. If you missed a day you had to make it up or get points or have a doctors note like in school. Some of the managers would still give you points if you were not one of the "favorites". The pay for the area is acceptable but when you are hired to work 40 hours with a "little bit of over time", that doesn't mean that you should be expected to work 50+ hours months on end. I am completely aware that a Warehouse is cold but it was extremely cold in winter with only heating through the floor and nowhere else. In the summer it was just the opposite with only floor fans or ceiling fans of little to no use. You would be yelled at for taking a extra break to warm up or cool down. Or unjustly fired.

Cons

Weather. People who have not been properly trained for the position that they are in. Supervisors who don't know what the rules are & play favorites with their drinking buddies. I'm a past warehouse employee who was given a 3 day suspension for safety violations due to a injury on the job. Only to come back to be informed that my supervisor didn't know the truth about punishment & I was fired. This is called double jeopardy. It's illegal like most of the employees that they hire in the warehouse.

Pros

A few of the people are nice to work with.

Cons

A store manager who talks down to employees like they're children (and apparently gets promoted for it). A store manager who acts like employees are idiots for calling him to ask questions. Raises are pathetic. Understaffed because the store manager won't allow enough labor hours to do the job, particularly on Sundays when there's a lot of freight.
