Pros
The work itself is great. Keeps you busy and you meet some really awesome people. You receive an extra 2.50 an hour on the weekends. Those in receiving can look forward to a 50 cent raise as soon as you get your forklift liscense.
Cons
Not for those battling mental disorders. I have 6 of them and although the company itself is incredibly understanding, individual management does not do a good job of keeping the teasing from fellow employees to a minimum. They tended to be very sly with the names they would call me, and they would talk about me behind my back. If youre not buddy buddy with management they will let you take the fall for something that is not your fault. But those who are buddies with management can look forward to them sticking their neck out for them. I lost my forklift liscence because of a faulty garage door sensor causing the door to close on my forklift. But when another employee tipped a pallet of paint over 12 feet in the air, the manager took the fall because as a manager he cant lose his liscense. You need to be mentally prepared for this kind of job.
