Pros
The environment and treatment the stores provide are very inclusive. Each department works independently and each employee is responsible for that department, but you also learn about other departments in the store and are able to help anyone with anything. They allow and promote versatility and push for their employees to move up in positions in the ambition is there, whether it be at the store you're current at, or another. Retail can be difficult for some people to work in and is not suited for everyone. Given that, Menards puts forth the effort to provide a welcoming atmosphere for its guests and this breeds positivism in its employees.
Cons
I didn't have any bad experiences working for Menards. However, anywhere you work, there is the possibility for difficult management. But the majority of the management was more than willing to work with my scheduling conflicts.
