Pros

Tons of room to grow and carve your own path, but you need to create the opportunity. Access to the CEO & CTO. As in lots of starts up, there is a lot of collaboration and they encourage you to explore your own ideas and projects.

Cons

A lot of restructuring, they need a much a more solid vision. CS work can be overwhelming due to the number of clients. They need a clear value prop to grow the business properly.

Pros

- Mention is an excellent tool and people are super eager to use it. - Product is very eager to take your feedback and make it a reality - Great work life balance if you manage your time well (Sales) - Bunch of perks (free lunches/events) - Eager team that wants to succeed - A lot of autonomy (double edged sword) - To address people's concerns with our CEO. He is excellent. One just needs to understand his style of communication. We had a bunch of heads of departments that failed to see his vision and align with his goals. They were replaced with management that better understood Mentions goal and the quality of work from those departments is much better.

Cons

- Being a younger start up that has recently grown dramatically in staff there will be growing pains. - Upwards mobility remains a big pain point. Especially in departments that tend to be more flat by nature. (inbound sales/cs/marketing) I hope with the continued growth of the company these departments will see opportunity for advancement. - Expect your commision structure to change frequently.
