Pros

Benefits for FT workers were very decent. Coworkers were an unparalleled mix of awesome.

Cons

The company exploits front line workers in order to give their salaried workers the stuff they brag about in puff pieces. They are ableist. Employees with disabilities in Denver are forced to park 3/4 of a mile away sometimes. In a lot where their cars are constantly broken into and even stolen. All managers and salaried employees get to park on site. They paid for a third party company to do a diversity and inclusion audit. When they company provided the audit and MW didn’t like what it said, they buried the audit and claimed publicly that the company, sweet levity, didn’t finish the job. It’s a lie. The report exists. And it’s not kind to management. In Denver, instead of laying off employees after the opening rush season was over, they simply cut hours of about 30 employees down to on call only . This was a way to avoid paying unemployment. They have fought against the union at every turn, spending millions on lawyers and bragging about sales numbers while telling employees they can’t afford to pay a living wage. They lie. A lot. It’s not safe. Security there makes less than almost anywhere else in town. They’re constantly being sued by former and current employees.

Supportive and creative team who really takes pride in being authentic and kind to one another. They care deeply for maintaining the integrity of the artwork and the lore. Fun place to work!

Cons

No cons other than the hourly staff are not receiving as many hours as they were expecting.
