Pros
Generally friendly place, compensation is adequate but most likely lower than in asset management firms. How much you learn and grow depends on you, no training programs, basically learn on the job.
Cons
Don’t get promoted unless you ask for it, sometimes there can be no clear path for advancement. Although they are trying sometimes can feel like too male dominant (at least where I work). Feels like too much red tape at times.
