Pros

bonuses per quarter (but are dependent on individual productivity, rather than in comparison with peers) give opportunity to new and inexperienced people Good relationship with colleagues, good environment, always friendly and accessible people Personally I was lucky with my people manager

Cons

It's hard to be valued when you're not a senior in the company, rare salary reviews, boast about profits but then aren't able to reward everyone equitably Very generic initial training, the teams do not seem prepared to provide specific training for the tasks that people will perform Everyone very focused on delivering work, undervaluing the need to train the team A lot of work and frustrations for the salary you receive, there is no consistency between the level/salary we have and the work/responsibilities required Raises/bonuses are not public, the company even asks us not to comment with colleagues, as there are many injustices that they know people will look for other opportunities Very poor capacity to retain people. They would rather hire a new person with no experience than value the people they have who are good at the job they do.

Pros

-Trustworthy immediate colleagues -Good work/life balance and flexibility

Cons

-Little career pathing within company. Organization is extremely siloed, and cheap as they simply aren't interested in paying for small things to advance one's career like local industry conferences and events such as team holiday dinners that would have minimal impact on the company's bottom line. -Pay not aligned with skills or talent marketplace -One would think a benefits/career consultant would have decent pay and benefits. This is not the case
