Salary review - Medical Assistant I Mercy Employee Review

The starting pay is ridiculously low. Before my current position I worked with mercy for almost 3 years in a similar position. Having that experience alone should put me at a higher base pay rate. When they offered me $15 an hour for a MA position I negotiated with HR and was given 53¢ for my prior knowledge and work experience. It was enough to make me feel like they tried but when I hear that other MA’s, or better yet, receptionists in different clinics are making a $3 an hour more than my current base pay drives me insane.
