Mercy as a whole is not people-based, and really needs to realize that their coworkers are their biggest resources. Shorting the workers on pay and hours, revoking benefits like incentive shifts, and limiting pay raises to barely 2.4% is not the way to show appreciation to the people who keep the business afloat. I think if those in the higher positions of the organization would actually meet and talk to their coworkers not in office, they would learn very quickly how unhappy many people are.
