Pros
Been working here for years and have had nothing but great things to say about Mercy until now
Cons
Since COVID, HR & Recruitment have been remote. People have moved to different states or hired at Mercy while living in a state that does not have a Mercy site and this week we are told that we will now have to go into a hybrid model. If you don't live near a Mercy site? You will need to find a new job. If you don't have childcare for the summers? Need to find a new job. Also, we only have until July 1st to find a new job or relocate to a city that has a Mercy as if people can afford new homes. This decision is going to cost a lot of great people their jobs. This decision also doesn't give enough time at all for people to find a new job. Mercy's values include standing up for those who can't and ensuring everyone feels recognized and heard but this is not how you live by that. Talk about Justice, Dignity, Excellence, Hospitality, and Stewardship - this decision is going to cost livelihood for many people. This is not being in right relationships with your caregivers. Many of us have been crying and stressed out at the thought of now losing our jobs and having to find a new one so quickly. I have recommended people work here for years because of how Mercy truly cares for their employees but this is just wrong.
