Pros

Learning experience Work hours - M-F 8-4 Opportunity for bonus shifts Great pay if your an RN

Cons

They do not care about their employees at all Huge pay gap between RNs and SWs for doing the EXACT same job. Constantly adding more job duties into your role without warning You are punished for being sick so do NOT get sick or call in- unless your management Very cliquey Same rules do not apply to all Management is rarely there Very low pay for social workers Terrible insurance - might as well not even be insured All they care about is length of stay and pushing the patients out so management gets their big bonuses and not about the actual patient so the same patients continue coming back over and over. The manager and team leads lie and say theyre completing clinical hours to become licensed social workers but there is ZERO clinical work that would qualify for your License. They have a licensed SW lie each week and sign off on their "clinical" hours. Youre punished for speaking up No team building HR could careless Poor management If you're 15 minutes late, you lose 4 hours of PTO

Pros

Good base rate: starts at 30 with 10k sign on bonus Weekend program gets an extra 9.50 an hr Diffs are Evenings: 2. Nights: 4. Weekends: 1.5

Cons

Very short staffed They mark everyone as “average” on performance reviews so they only have to give you a 3% raise Last year due to “budget cuts” they only gave every person a 2.5% raise even those 1/3 of our staff had quit. We have like half of the staffing we used to have If you spend the night during a snow storm you don’t get anything for it
