Pros

Brand new facility (opened in 2011), well appropriated as far as equipment goes, resources abundant

Cons

Poor staffing (does not utilize ANY staffing agencies), lack of management, poor policy decisions. You can be called off for low census at the start of your shift, and told to come back less than two hours later. You are treated as an on-call nurse, but not paid as on-call. Poor stocking - often out of flushes, syringes, etc. Often not given time for lunch. Salary for nurses is not comparable to dayton or columbus - they start a full dollar below normal for central ohio. benefits are largely only specific to those who see doctors employed by the hospital - which is not manageable if you do not live in the immediate area.

Pros

They give you decent time off especially after you've been there a number of years.

Cons

I think your experience all depends a lot on manager-- some care, some don't care enough.
