      MercyOne is a rewarding place to work because it truly lives out its Christian mission while supporting its employees. I value being able to grow into leadership roles while working alongside great teams focused on improving patient outcomes, experiences, and the cost of care in our community. Just as important, the organization supports a strong work‑life balance, allowing me to be present for my family outside of work.

      Cons

      One of the most challenging aspects of working in a health system right now is keeping alignment of strategies and priorities across markets.

      Excellent colleagues, experienced leadership, opportunities for advancement, and provides great benefit to the community.

      Cons

      Experiencing some changes in scope as we adapt to a more regionalized structure, but will be a positive in the long run.

      Pros

      MercyOne is a wonderful organization to work for. Family-Friendly and a nice culture. Senior leadership cares about the colleagues and it feels evident. Staff are friendly and say hello when passing in the hallways. Staff will always stop to assist someone who doesn't know where they are supposed to go.

      Cons

      I would love more lunch options. That is not really a con, though.
