Pros

If you aren't working in a department that directly deals with patients, you have a lot of flexibility in work schedule. Genesis is also willing to hire people who are new to their careers and don't have a ton of job experience, which makes is decent place to start out and get some job experience.

Cons

They don't provide you with adequate resources to properly train you or do your job to the standards they ask, management likes to hold on to problem employees rather than terminate them, and once you get hired at a certain wage, expect a stagnant wage that will never quite be as competitive as it could and an HR department that you can't really negotiate with.

Pros

Excellent colleagues, experienced leadership, opportunities for advancement, and provides great benefit to the community.

Cons

Experiencing some changes in scope as we adapt to a more regionalized structure, but will be a positive in the long run.
