Pros

Mersive is a great place to work on cutting edge technology in a very laid back, relaxed environment with great people. Management does a great job of growing the business and definitely prioritizes the well being of employees, irrespective of their roles. There is always open, clear, and honest communication without arbitrary vertical/horizontal barriers. Mersive takes pride in its ability to bring world-class collaboration products to market and make them work in various corporate ecosystems, and it's quite energizing to be part of the team that delivers that level of excellence.

Cons

Being a smaller company, resources for building the absolute best processes/practices can be a bit scarce at times. Certain roles like QA and Support seem to be overloaded with work while others have much more relaxed schedules. While it is a very open culture, performance reviews are non-compulsory and the company doesn't take individual development seriously; discussions over performance and employee growth are heavily deprioritized in favor of myopic focus on building the next cutting edge product feature or helping customers. Compensation is average and there are no annual bonuses for IC employees, which is unheard of in the modern landscape of engineering firms.

Pros

Mersive is in an exciting stage of growth, with a clear focus on innovation and pushing new products into the market. The company has recently taken on a new direction that feels strategic and forward-looking, with leadership emphasizing technology that better serves modern workplaces. There’s a strong sense of collaboration across teams, and the work environment encourages new ideas and problem-solving.

Cons

Like any company evolving in a competitive tech space, there are growing pains and adjustments to new priorities. Communication around change could be more consistent at times, but leadership seems receptive to feedback.
