Stuck sitting often due to lack of freight, last minute dispatches with little to no warning, complete disregard for planning needs of a driver for trip planning and sleep planning. Struggle to get layover pay. Trucks not well maintained despite safety lanes at the terminal, and when I get into a new truck they say is ready, they clearly have not gone over it thoroughly (clean, but often has something inoperable). Treat drivers like part of the machinery.
