Business Outlook
Pros
Great mission in addressing poverty throughout the five boroughs in NYC.
Cons
Disgraced former CEO was convicted of ripping off over 9 million from the company and is now serving 3-10 years behind bars. Guess that's why they couldn't afford to pay their employees adequately or offer decent benefits. Very poor pay- significantly below market rates, even for a nonprofit. Exceedingly inept management from the top to the middle. The company does not appreciate their employees or make them feel valued. Employees are constantly overworked without so much as a "thank you". Very "cliquish" environment that is unwelcoming and offers no room for growth. I cannot in good faith ever recommend working here.
