Pros

Flexibility, work/life balance, great culture, good people. Somewhat political, but good overall vision, direction and goals. Love going to work in the morning and feeling challenged. Great group of people!

Cons

Decisions at high levels are slow to be made and slower to trickle down which can impede progress. Some middle manager are useless and just push their own agendas for promotion. Skipping over them is the easiest way to get things done.

Pros

I loved my job and my coworkers, and the company's health benefits were outstanding. Leaving wasn't an easy decision, but it was the right one.

Cons

I had a toxic manager who micromanaged everything—checking time reports, tracking lunch breaks, and monitoring every minute away from your desk. They often sent multiple emails to communicate a single point because they struggled to communicate clearly. High-visibility projects were consistently given to favorites, while the rest of the team was overlooked. They were also frequently condescending in team huddles and meetings. Based on my experience, they were never taught how to lead people effectively, and I'm genuinely surprised they're still in a management role.
