      - Good culture - Great people

      Cons

      - RIFs are not uncommon, so it can be hard to relax As always, a bad manager can make all the difference. Luckily I haven't worked for any, but they do exist at MetLife (along with most companies).

      The job pays your bills. Some colleagues are great at what they do and quite supportive and professional.

      Cons

      Research management is micromanaging, passively aggressive, prescriptive. Unbalanced workload.
