      The people who work for Methodist Health System are stellar-personally and professionally. There are multiple opportunities for growth and advancement. Love the ability to live out what I love and am called to do.

      Cons

      There are cons to everything in life/work, but none have been a deal breaker. I’ve stayed with Methodist 34 years and still moving forward.

      Pros

      Coming from a smaller size hospital but big company like Methodist and known high paying hospital in DFW, I needed more shifts. Since MDMC is bigger than my other PRN, I have higher chance of getting shifts because there are more monitoring stations, more staff taking PTOs, higher chance of staff calling out sick and therefore opening the shift, etc.

      Cons

      More workload and higher census! Almost 50 patients on heart monitor per station.
