Pros
Takes care of employees. Very family-oriented. Flexible with schedule as necessary. I've been given the opportunity to advance in my career over the years, due to solid work effort and a desire to learn and grow. They want to foster people's skills and offer a tuition reimbursement program, good benefit packages, etc. Fantastic reputation in the civil industry in multiple specialty sectors. Great people and a fairly low turnover (there are a lot of staff here who have been here 10+ years, which is definitely rare in this industry). Upper management are mostly long-time employees and have a vested interest in employees.
Cons
This is not a "con" in my book, but you will not cruise by without effort here. They value those who want to work and commit the needed energy to every task. They also value autonomy, initiative and continued education.
