Pros
- Upper management listens to you. On several occasions they have scheduled meetings with me just to listen to my suggestions. - Company communications during COVID-19 have been nothing less than stellar. They have followed up with each employee individually to just check and make sure their families are ok and ask if they need anything for their job. - Everyone loves what they do. Hiring managers work hard at hiring the right people for teams. I've not worked with anyone that doesn't have a deep passion for what they do. - Work life balance is terrific. On a number of occasions I was told to take some time off because I have a habit of rarely taking time off. Time off is also unlimited as long as you are reasonable and try to communicate your outages with the team. - The office space is fun. I still love walking in the doors and hanging out in the breakroom. - Clients are really great and the projects can be a lot of fun and very innovative.
Cons
No real "cons". Proposals are sometimes rushed but that's the nature of Federal Government work.
