convenient for students: dorms and meal plan reduction that's really it. i had a colleague quit the first week because the pay was not worth it for him between the environment and the manager

everything else they'll take almost anyone because the turnover rate is so high due to lack of consideration (for RDs too), making the quality of team dynamics and randomized placements really poor management bypassed all of the red flags my superior presented, provided no support to work through difficult situations until after they already happened, and virtually left many RA teams stranded my team and i tried to communicate the issues to the Director, and she explained supply and demand to us as to why she couldn't pay us more for being understaffed the whole year neverending building issues that never get solved: visible signs of water damage (mold and water stains), random sewage smells, rodent problems, etc awful at event planning on large scales: covid, fire safety in 2021 had like 9 people faint, etc
