Pros

Employment Very Stable for a Semiconductor Company Low comparative cost of health insurance premium Company is growing via acquisitions. This is a plus since it opens up more opportunities but a negative because current employees not utilized to develop new products/markets

Cons

Culture is to hire less experience employees and give narrow responsibility -- leads to issues in development Low costs of health insurance offset by high deductible on medicine and other procedures compared to what I have seen at other large companies CEO pressures employees to "volunteer" to take 5% pay cut. This is done in letters after announcing the favorable returns the shareholders are receiving Company is not looking for best in class employees but lowest pay for position. Has led to culture where only upper management is making decisions.

Pros

There are a handful of people here who are fantastic to work with, are very knowledgeable, and care about the product that's going out the door.

Cons

Leadership is fundamentally out of touch and appears indifferent to employee well-being. The culture is marred by nepotism and a lack of accountability, where 'guiding values' are preached but never practiced. Feedback is discouraged, and those who speak up are often targeted. Expect a 'reward' of more work for the same pay, as promotions are rare and promised bonuses are frequently withheld despite strong site performance. A very frustrating and toxic environment for those who value merit and transparency.
