Pros
Stable work with min standards benefits- 401K is based on how well the company does and have to work there 5 yrs to receive the full amount. 50% if lucky. I get $1 for $1 now and no cost health insurance for my family after leaving them. There are better jobs out there. They meeting says all the millons they are making and when I comes to review they have nothing for hard workers to give. The workers there are decent to each other except a few from engineering.
Cons
When managed by Microsemi - It was managed badly. Stock with Microchip dropped sharply. This culture is the "lucky you have a job" culture and if you are not in Engineering you get treated like second class citizens Don't expect raises, career opportunities or a decent company party anytime soon. People are leaving just like me. I would look elsewhere. Contractors take a very long time to get hired on.
