Pros
I started at Microdesk about 3 months ago and have been happy with the experience thus far. The hiring process was pretty smooth, but did take a while as the position was 'planned', but they were pretty up-front about that. Once the position was fully approved, the official offer came through. They were very competitive with the salary and a pretty decent time off policy, though I think they could improve the time off a bit. They were flexible with my start date allowing me to sufficiently turn over things at my previous employer. As others have mentioned, it's the 20th anniversary this year and the company is expanding more and more with a company trip (plus significant others) to New Orleans later this year. Can't beat that! The working environment is fairly flexible as long as you get your work done. I like having weekly company calls to hear how the company is doing and what staffing changes (hiring) is taking place. Overall, I feel like they value the worth of employees. Training is also offered and encouraged, especially for those working directly with customers.
Cons
Health insurance costs are pretty high. I was a bit shocked, but I knew this going into the position as I had asked for that information. There are some improvements coming, but I'm not sure if they will bring the cost down much.
