Pros

Decent company. A lot of learning opportunities. Tolerant to rookie mistakes. Depending on which group you are in, you can have good or terrible work/life balance. In general, good for new graduates or people who are planning to retire soon.

Cons

Technology wise not competitive. Business outlook is dim. Raise of salary is rare and slow. Lack of promotion opportunities. Some departments are entirely controlled and abused by people from a south Asia country. Poor location.

Pros

Decent pay, great stock grants and stock purchase plan. You can be at the forefront of memory technology driving today's AI megaboom, and benefit from the high demand (i.e. soaring stock price).

Cons

Little sense of community, lifeless office environment, dead-eyed and overworked employees. "Flexible work arrangements" in name only, as recent policy changes have significantly reduced effectiveness especially if you have a long commute or family life. Too much emphasis on unimportant buzz such as embracing diversity and inclusion is just annoying, but par for the course in today's big tech industry.
